frostic.com Home CO2 Suppliers Precautions Dry Ice Uses

The reason we started this is that tourists come to the area and catch salmon, lake trout and all sorts of other fish, they also hunt deer and other game species. People kept coming in and asking for dry ice for their trip back downstate. We had to tell them to go 35 miles into Traverse City and buy it on the weekdays only as the Airgas place was closed on weekends.

We looked at buying it and having it here for people, but it didn't make sense to buy dry ice and then not sell it maybe and loose it to sublimation

We looked at the square box type machines, but they were way too expensive and didn't make enough dry ice from our liquid to make it economical. We also heard that people who use those machines have to replace them every year or so as they wear out, that just seemed way too expensive.

Finally we started trying to build our own dry ice maker, after several different attempts that didn't work so well we figured out the Frost-Stick. It works great! We can make dry ice on demand, when we need it. We don't have to worry about buying it in TC, the Gas company delivers cylinders every week. We sell it to our customers for $3.00 per pound and they usually purchase about 3 or 4 lbs for their coolers

Do you own a Gas Station, Convenience Store, Grocery Store, Hunting Camp, Charter Fishing Operation? Think about selling Dry Ice... You might be suprised at how much you will sell...

Instant Beer Cooler... Put your warm beer in the cooler. spray Dry Ice from the Frost-Stick Directly on top of the cans until there is about a pound or so on top of and between the cans. Close the lid. Your beer will be cold in about a minute.

How many times have you purchased Ice Cream and Frozen items at Sam's Club and thought, "Hope I get this home ok"

Make Dry Ice at home before going shopping, put it in your cooler and put the lid on. When you come out to the car you are ready do drive home with out worry
